How I Failed The Victoria Arbiter Challenge

Victoria Arbiter has an issue with telling the truth and accepting responsibility.

But she is not alone.

Other British Royal Reporters seem to have that issue.

But why is that a problem?

Simply, if you have a tendency to withhold the truth, how can anyone believe what you are saying?

Also, if you have a tendency to withhold the truth, what organizations will want to hire you?

But why am I writing about this today?

This morning, I was tempted to make a joke.

I was going to lie and say I knew what Prince Harry was going to wear when he addresses the UN on Mandela Day.

I even had an outfit picked out.

You know, follow in the footsteps of Victoria Arbiter.

But I couldn’t follow through.

Please know I was tempted.

Because I know the majority of people would see it as a joke.

But some people wouldn’t understand it.

Some people would take me seriously.

So it’s not worth it.

It’s not worth joking around.

So thank you Victoria Arbiter. I don’t want to be like you.

So I would rather tell the truth.
