Online Trolls Have Earned An Estimated $3.5 Million Targeting Meghan And Harry Via YouTube: Not So Lucrative
This month, Bot Sentinel released their final report on the ‘Coordinated Hate Campaign Targeting Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex’.
This report highlights the coordinated smear campaign orchestrated by Murky Meg (𝐊𝐢𝐳 𝐋𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲), Taz (𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥), and Yankee Wally (𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧).
While it’s sickening to see in black and white the amount of time and energy these women put into smearing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the report reveals some important information.
One important detail was the amount of money these individuals could be making on YouTube.
The report states that they could be making an estimated $3.5 million from YouTube ad revenue. Please note: YouTube makes a substantial amount from the ad revenue generated from these videos.
While it’s sickening to think these individuals are profiting from lying and targeted harassment, it’s not a lot of money.
Let me explain.
The main argument these women have is that people hate Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
But despite their best efforts, the numbers don’t lie.
Because if there was mainstream hate for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, wouldn’t these individuals be making more money?
Because if there was mainstream hate for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, why would these people have to rely on being amplified by discredited British ‘journalists’?
Because if there was mainstream hate for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, why did these individuals have to coordinate a smear campaign?
Because if there was mainstream hate for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, why are these individuals trying to hide in the shadows?
Things just don’t add up.
Because in reality, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are beloved across the globe.
Because in reality, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are surrounded by people who love and support them.
Because in reality, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working with high profile organizations that attest to their great reputation.
So despite the coordinated smear campaign orchestrated by Murky Meg (𝐊𝐢𝐳 𝐋𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲), Taz (𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥), and Yankee Wally (𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧), they have all failed.
Now it’s only a matter of time before YouTube removes them from it’s platform for their targeted harassment.
But there will be others trying to replace them.
So I can understand that it may seem like an endless battle but remember it is worth it in the end.
We as a community cannot allow hate for profit to be normalized.
