Royal Heartbreak: Prince William’s Colossal Failure In Marrying Kate Middleton: They Both Fade Into The Background
If you spend anytime online, you already know this: Prince William had limited options in who he could marry.
As the heir to the British throne, Prince William throughout his life was protected by his family and the British media.
As the ‘future’ of the monarchy, he was given the opportunity to shape his life.
With this freedom, Prince William cultivated a mindset where he stayed in the background.
Prince William seldom worked, vacationed several times a year, and dated many women including Kate Middleton.
However, when Prince William finally decided to marry, he had limited options. In part due to his position and his personality, few women were interested in being his wife but he was not lacking in companionship…
Luckily or unluckily, Prince William had Kate Middleton in the background waiting for him to marry her.
Kate Middleton, in total, spend 10 years waiting for Prince William to marry her.
She designed her whole life in order to be his wife.
And it worked.
But what were the consequences?
Unfortunately, the past few years has made it clear: Prince William made a colossal mistake in marrying Kate Middleton.
Why? Because by marrying someone who is more suited to the background, Prince William opened himself to a lifetime of failure.
Let me explain.
The British royal family has been engulfed in controversy for several years.
Several members of the royal family have been mired in controversy including Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Philip, Peter Philips, and Prince Michael of Kent and so on.
Now, the best way to distract the British public from these scandals is to have charismatic members of the royal family.
It’s easy to distract the British public by having charismatic members of the royal family cut ribbons, hold garden parties, or by simply waving.
However, the royal family doesn’t have any naturally charismatic members of the royal family anymore.
Because of this, the new strategy is to push Kate Middleton more into the public eye.
But there is no way to change Kate Middleton into a person that captivates people.
No matter how hard they try, you can’t copy another person in order to come across as being more captivating.
In short: Kate Middleton doesn’t have the it factor.
But let’s also be clear, there is nothing wrong with not having the it factor.
So what’s the real problem?
Well. Kate Middleton is unable to give speeches, interact with people, and be authentic. To cover up these failings, the royal family and British media promote her other attributes in order to distract from this.
In every article, the focus is on taking photos. The goal is to capture her with an unnatural, forced wide smile and to comment on the clothes she is wearing.
However, these distractions are not lasting.
If you notice, Prince William and Kate Middleton do not generate long lasting positive engagement. They both lack charisma and the public isn’t super interested about them.
So they are both stuck in a never-ending cycle.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are constantly being promoted but the royal family and British media never see any long-term benefits.
The strategy is directionless and only produces short-term gains.
But this all could have been avoided.
Prince William learned the wrong lesson from the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
If only he recognized that even though he lacked charisma, he could have still waited to find an intelligent, hardworking, and charismatic partner.
